Nature Grants | Learning Through Landscapes

I’m delighted to announce that we have been awarded a Local School Nature Grant, thanks to players of the People’s Postcode Lottery. Our pupils will be benefitting from a wildlife camera and whittling and drilling kit which will be used to enhance our outdoor learning experiences as well as, make further connections with the local care centre and nursery through sharing the wildife camera footage.

In addition staff will receive training to help children learn outdoors. Pupils played an important role in applying for the grant and selected equipment that they felt would continue to improve our outdoor experiences. Thank you also to Mrs MacPherson who highlighted the possibility of funding to us as well as offering ideas for it.

The project is run by Learning through Landscapes and funded by Postcode Local Trust, which receives funding from players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
