Dyslexia Scotland have managed to arrange an event for this Thursday, 11 March 2021 – 7:00pm to 8:30pm with Highland Council’s Literacy Development Officers Laura and Jenny. They will be hosting it through Google Meet and the capacity is 100 places.
Phonic coding, reading, spelling and how you can support your child
This session will be delivered on behalf of Dyslexia Scotland Inverness branch by Laura McGinlay and Jenny Wilson who are both Literacy Development Officers in Highland Council.
They will focus on a couple of the aspects that many children with dyslexia struggle with:
- phonic code and the part it plays in reading and spelling
- how you may be able to help your child at home
You will be able to submit questions during the session through the chat box and there will be time at the end for discussion.
