Spring Photo Winners and Soirbheas competition

Congratulations to our Spring photograph winners below. A big thank you to Mr Iain MacDiarmid, a local photographer, who judged the competition for us too.

We hope this has inspired the children to consider carrying on their photography skills. There is the opportunity to now take part in the Soirbheas local photography competition – details below. It would be great to have the school nominated as the group to receive a prize if you are a winner.

As you may have heard Soirbheas are running the photo competition again. Each year the winners have selected a charity/local group to receive £100 to funds from Soirbheas, and the winner receives a £50 voucher to spend in a local business. Entries close on Friday 21^st May 2021.

There is a class for adults, and one for under 18’s, which younger children can enter too – last year we had entries from junior primary school children.

This year our themes are:

1. Our landscape and wildlife
2. Our community and activities
3. Our landmarks and iconic buildings
